The Hankridge Arms

Hankridge Way, Riverside, Taunton TA1 2LR, UK – 01823 444405

I particularly liked the choice of meal size. We opted for small as it was lunchtime. Not only was the portion good but it was also delicious, fish and chips. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and a lovely breeze because they had the sense to open the windows, it was a very hot day. Would definitely recommend.

Really good food. The staff were most attentive. Did not have to wait to be served at out table. A nice change from some we have been in.

The Nags Head Tavern

Mattock's Tree Hill, Taunton TA3 5NW, UK – 01823 442258

Food is tasty and plentiful. Staff with a good sense of humour made the evening very pleasant. Very Good Garden area plenty of seats and tables.

We arrived late and still made us feel welcome kept the kitchen open. Food was plentiful. Thanks.

The Half Moon Inn

Stoke Rd, Stoke St Mary, Taunton TA3 5BY, UK – 01823 442394

Haven't eaten here but occasionally pop in for a drink in the afternoon as open all day. Very friendly staff & decent choice of wine, ales & cider. Dog friendly too in certain areas. Will have to try the food sometime.

Always a great pub. Food great. Dogs welcome. All public make conversation everyone joins in. Go here time and time again with long gaps inbetween. But never changes! Love it.
